The Gospel Stands as the Church Falls

The 6.4 magnitude quake, Puerto Rico's strongest since 1918, levelled buildings and killed at least one man in the southern part of the island, leaving more than 300 people homeless.
A historic church in Puerto Rico was destroyed in an earthquake. The church was built in the 1840's it was severely damaged from a 6.4-magnitude earthquake.
Much of the church was destroyed but, miraculously, much of the congregation's precious religious items, including a picture of Jesus Christ was excluded.
